Exeter Holiday Parade

Saturday, December 7, 2019; 5:30pm

Watch for the Exeter Kiwanis Club float in the upcoming 2019 Exeter Holiday parade.

This annual event has been the highlight of the holiday season for decades in Exeter. This year’s theme is Holiday Movie Night.

Always a contender for a parade award, the Exeter Kiwanis Club will be sponsoring a fun float in the parade where we’ll hand out candy (no throwing!) and a very special, joyful gift for children of all ages!

The Kiwanis Club float will be supported by members of the Exeter High School Key Club and the UNH Circle K Club.

The Exeter Holiday Parade kicks off at approximately 5:30pm from the OSRAM Plant at 131 Portsmouth Avenue.

The parade heads out of the OSRAM entrance, making a left onto Portsmouth Avenue. The parade continues to the end of Portsmouth Avenue and then makes a right onto High Street. The parade continues straight onto Water Street passing the bandstand and ending at the entrance to Swasey Parkway.

Be sure to get there early to find a prime spot to watch all the action and welcome Santa Claus to Exeter! Parking can be tight – so get to Exeter early!

The parade is approximately 1 hour from start to finish and 1.1 miles long (for those of you walking). The parade route will run from approximately 5:00pm – 7:00pm.

Exeter’s annual Holiday Parade is a great Seacoast tradition. Come join us in Downtown Exeter or lineup on Portsmouth Avenue and enjoy this great event – which also features Exeter’s fantastic downtown Christmas Light Display!
